The Home Pod keeps saying that I need to accept Apple's terms and conditions. I subscribe to Apple premium. Isn't that enough?

When I ask the home pod to play music (any music) it says that i need to accept Apple's terms and conditions. I am a subscriber to Apple premium. What more do I need? This is very frustrating. It did not happen when I first set it up, but started a couple of days ago, and now it will do nothing except tell me that I need to accept Apple's terms and condition....

Fixed! Turns out I had to accept the terms and conditions on my Apple TV, which my HomePods (original) are connected to as a stereo pair.

I wish the HomePod had told me which device I had to accept the terms and condition on! I already checked on my iPad and MacBook!

Resetting the HomePods did not work for me.

Hello BarbCerv,

If you need to accept the terms and conditions to start playing music, then go ahead and do that.

If you're having a problem accepting the terms and conditions, try restarting the HomePod.

If that doesn't help, reset the HomePod instead:

Remove HomePod or HomePod mini from the Home app
1. Open the Home app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac that's signed in with the Apple ID that you used to set up HomePod.
2. Tap or click HomePod.
3. Select the Settings icon  or scroll down to HomePod settings.
4. Select Reset HomePod.
5. Select Remove Accessory.

Reset HomePod or HomePod mini
1. Unplug HomePod or unplug the power adapter for HomePod mini. Wait 10 seconds, then plug HomePod back in.
2. Wait 10 seconds, then touch your finger to the top of HomePod and hold it there.
3. The white spinning light will turn red. Keep your finger down.
4. Siri will say that your HomePod is about to reset. When you hear three beeps, you can lift your finger.

If you're still unable to accept the terms and conditions after that, you'll want to contact Apple to report the issue: Get Support

Cheers!
