instagram story bad quality with iphone 15 pro max

Hey there, with my last phones, Samsung A52 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro i had a very good quality when i put a pic into the Instagram story and then saved the image in the story before uploading it to storys. Then i uploaded the saved image and the quality was awesome.

with the iphone 15 pro max is the quality bad when i upload it the same way. I dont know how i can fix it. Is it a problem of the Instagram app or is it a problem fron the iphone?

If you upload the same photo to other apps does it appear to have the same issue? We ask as that would help determine if the problem is specific to Instagram.
