I bought 6TB from apple to backup iCloud. I don’t understand why it keeps sending me message saying not enough storage

is there a difference between the device storage and iCloud storage,


I recommand first to read this article:

What’s the difference between device storage and iCloud storage? - Apple Support (IE)


If you go in settings>general>storage iPhone. You will see the storage used on your device (Photos, Documents, apps..)


if you go to settings>Your Name>iCloud you will see the iCloud storage where you have 6TB
