Pair iPhone with Apple Watch

I just bought an Apple Watch 6 with os7 and I can’t pair it with my iPhone X. Do you know if it’s possible to pair?

Thanks for getting back to us Korjack,

watchOS 7 requires an iPhone 6s or newer running iOS 14 or later. If your iPhone X has iOS 16 and your Apple Watch has watchOS 7, you should be able to pair them.

If you are having an issue getting the watch set up, please review the pairing troubleshooting found in If you can't pair an Apple Watch with your iPhone - Apple Support.

Should you continue to have an issue after that, contacting Apple Support directly is our next suggestion. They'll have the tools and resources needed to further investigate. You can do that here: Get Support

Have a great weekend.

Hello Korjack,

For difficulties with pairing your Apple Watch, you'll want to take the steps below:

1. Make sure that your iPhone has the latest version of iOS.
2. Turn off your iPhone and turn it back on.
3. Turn off your Apple Watch and turn it back on

You can also find those steps in the last section of this resource: Set up your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Should you still be unable to pair your Apple Watch, do you get a particular error or prompt during that process?

Let us know, and we'll keep moving forward based on that information.
