iPhone turns on by itself

If an iPhone Turns On by Itself:

Be certain your are doing so properly.

1. Go here: Turn iPhone On or Off - Apple Support
2. What is Provided:

• iPhone with Face ID: Simultaneously press and hold the side button and either volume button until the sliders appear, then drag the Power Off slider.

• iPhone with the Home button: Press and hold the side button or Sleep/Wake button (depending on your model), then drag the slider.

• All models: Go to Settings  > General > Shut Down, then drag the slider.

View the Activity by app:

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: Battery
3. Tap: Battery Usage by App

Does Anything Stand Out?:

Go here: Check the iPhone Battery Health and Usage - Apple Support

As it Reads: "Battery Usage by App: Shows the proportion of the battery used by each app in the selected time interval."

Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread.
4. Proceed from there as necessary
