Can I transfer music from an ancient iPod to a new iPAD.
I have an iPad Pro and want to transfer music from an old iPod.

If the music is all purchases from the iTunes Store, then sign in to the store on your iPad and download the music from your account.
If you have music that came from other sources, then in theory, it should all be listed in your iTunes Library (or use Finder on Mac OS Catalina or later). If so, connect the iPad to iTunes and copy the music from your iTunes library (or again, on Mac use OS Catalina or later, use Finder, not iTunes). Alternatively, download the music from those other sources to your computer, add them to your iTunes Library and then copy from your library to the iPad.
