"Desktops" on Sonoma moves back left or right randomly after I swipe to change the desktop

I've been trying to read on this but all I can find is a setting to organize desktops - which mine is _disabled_ plus it's not re-arranging, it's just changing desktops by itself.

usually the second time I do the swiping to the right desktop, it doesn't repeat itself.

I wonder if it's related to Chrome (most of my desktops are full screen Chrome windows), but couldn't find anything about that either.

Not sure exactly the issue here— but I would check your apps from the icon in the Dock Control click and see if you are set correctly for your purpose...

Make some changes, and compare your results.

Remove all your Desktops and start over, one at a time and reset up— in an effort isolate the issue.

Same, intel, sonoma 14.5

After swiping left/right to the next desktop, it bounces back to the previous. I have 3 predefined desktops + automatically created desktops for full screen apps. Usually happens for me when switching between the full screen desktops.

None of my applications (in fact never been) associated to any desktop.

Same problem here with other apps, and it is VERY annoying. I literally cannot change to different desktop right now as it always 'bounces' back!!
