MIDI CC Learn

In one specific MainStage concert, Omnisphere is unable to learn MIDI CC values outside of the keybed, mod wheel, pitch bend wheel, and sustain pedal. In other concerts and outside of MainStage, there are no issues with using the MIDI CC Learn function in Omnisphere. Even after copying over a mapped version of Omnisphere into this concert, assigned MIDI inputs no longer control Omnisphere parameters. All hardware MIDI inputs always show signal within MainStage though. What is wrong with this specific MainStage concert that won't let me map parameters in Omnisphere?

OK, understood, but the Korg Nanokontrol 2 must appear as a device on the MainStage canvas; even a MIDI activity object will work. I suggest going into "Layout" and adding a MIDI activity object linked to your Korg Nanokontrol 2.

Where are the CCs coming from that are not being learned? It sounds as though your keyboard is OK. Any other MIDI device also needs a presence on the canvas; i.e. introduce the device using "Layout" mode.

These MIDI inputs are coming from a Korg Nanokontrol 2. MainStage is reading the MIDI CC inputs from the device perfectly fine, but Omnisphere isn’t receiving the same inputs in this specific MainStage concert.
