No Admin on MacBook Air (Ventura)

Please help. I tried changing the home folder name and then the admin status disappeared and I only have standard users. I was able to open the terminal based on another post but the coding to remove the set up did not work. I’m not well versed with coding so try to dumb it down for me. Thanks!

Open Disk Utility. Check the name of the Data volume.

Fortunately, you didn't enter the name correctly. There is a lot more to that command. You basically tried to delete all of your data.

Where the command contains Macintosh HD - Data, use the name you found in Disk Utility.

If you do not have FileVault enabled, you can just try this:

rm -i /private/var/db/.AppleSetupDone

For the path, you can just start typing a few letters of the path and hit the tab key,

/p<tab>v<tab>db/.AppleSetupDone

Each tab press will fill in the path.
