I am getting charged by apple for fees I don’t recognize 0.99 cents. I’m not able to find what these charges are for through apple. How else can I scan and remove unwanted/ unauthorized payments ?

The purchase history for your Apple ID account will detail what each and every charge was for, including subscription fees.

Do you have an iCloud+ plan subscription?
Please check -> Go to -> Settings -> your name -> iCloud -> if you see 50 GB (or 200 GB or 2 TB or 6 TB or 12 TB) then you have an iCloud+ plan subscription.
If you have an iCloud+ plan subscription, you will receive a monthly bill from Apple, check your email box.
You pay monthly for iCloud+ plan storage.
The subscription runs as long as you don't downgrade.

If the charges do not show in your account, then your payment method may be compromised. Call your bank if the charges show up there and report fraud. If there is nothing showing there, then it is most likely a scammer trying to separate you from your money.
