Why am I getting zero results when searching with an event name on iOS 17.0.3?

On iPhone 15 Pro, with iOS 17.0.3 there are zero results when searching with an event name in Calendar search bar. Thanks in advance for help!

In Settings > Calendar > Siri & Search

toggle the followings sliders (to off and then on again):

Show App in Search

Show Content in Search

That fixed it for me … was suggested by another poster.

RE: searching my calendar for past events, my calendar keeps defaulting to today. I needed to report a previous medical appointment date, and I could not find it, as it keeps going to "today" - I tried that fix that was mentioned, toggling it off, clicking remove, then later turning it back on...no luck. I can even click another year and start searching, but it always comes back to "today" - which is not helpful at all. I upgraded recently to the iPhone 15. Why can't I do a simple calendar search on this phone?

Where are calendar events stored? Not on iCloud?

You have not mentioned where your calendar events are? Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other
