Notes app not working on MacBook Air M2

Hi,

I recently bought the new MacBook Air M2 and when I tried opening my Notes app, it seems like it's frozen. I cannot type anything, my previous notes aren't there, and I can't seem to close it unless I force quit it. Can you help me?

notes has become unusable since macOS Sequoia 15.2 update I only just updated it and wish i didn't. It changed all the font colours itself to all random ones, and when i try to change the colour back to what it was it keeps changing the colours itself again. Say i want to change it to purple it changes itself to red. I click on white to change the text, it turns it black. It has also changed all the font, including things that were in bold or italic. Sometimes when i am typing, the colours of the text changes again. Ive tried it in both dark mode and light mode and it does the same thing. Also keeps jumping to the top of the page whenever you try to scroll. I restarted it but no change. No other problems with my mac, all other apps are running fine except notes. its basically unusable at this point.

Notes app has become agonising slow and all but unusable I have a MacBook Pro with an M1 Max chip and Ventura 13.1. in the last week or so the Notes App has become incredibly slow... often 3-4 seconds lag between typing and seeing the results on the screen... sometimes even longer and have to force quit. To my knowledge nothing else had changed on my machine. ... While writing this I checked for updates, and so I updated now to Ventura 13.2... . Immediately after restarting I tried Notes and it worked great... for about one minute and then slooooweeeeddddd down again. In searching this forum I found a number of similar questions but they are old and apply to MacOS 10.x so I thought I'd ask for any advice again
