Trying to utilize the “share my location” feature but it just won’t allow me to. I’ve restarted my phone a few times hoping it’ll do it but nothing seems to change. Tried all possible location options that would link to this but then again, nothing. I can’t receive or share my location.

My son's phone can no longer share his phone's location with me - gives us the same error. But sharing works with my wife and others, so it's not privacy settings. Definitely a new apple bug that will never be fixed.

Same here. Started late October 2023. Says “Share Location
Unavailable. Please try again later.”
I tried updating iOS, restart, and every setting I could find. No luck yet.
Check Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Share My Location.
My husbands location won’t show to any one and says the same thing. I called Apple support their techs worked with me for over 8 hours and nothing worked. The weird thing is I put Life360 on it and that works. I’m wondering if any of it could be from the watch and it Shay’s share my location from this phone and iwatch.
Apple had us completely reset his iPhone to like new out of the box and it still didn’t fix it they never once offered to bring it in anywhere. I took it too AT&T where we got the phones and they were useless as well
The only way is that you either need to add the second email service provider, which is an iCloud email address that allows you to share the location across the devices,
OR
sign out from Apple ID and re-sign in with an iCloud email address that also allows you to share the location across the devices if your partner has the iCloud email address.
keep in mind if another email service providers than iCloud might not be working to share the location across the devices
I can’t request location nor share my location
Did anyone get a fix for this?
We have a family of 5 and "share my location" works for all but one of us - settings are the same across devices.
Appreciate all suggestions
