My iPhone 13’s battery has suddenly plummeted

Yesterday my iPhone 13 (almost 2 months old, battery health still 100%) used to last me all day, no matter what I did or how much I used it I couldn’t flatten it in a day. Today I barely even used it and it died in the afternoon. I haven’t done anything different today or installed anything that I didn’t have yesterday? I don’t understand this and I hope it’s just a one time thing otherwise I’m going to be very upset as its an almost brand new phone and never failed me, and for the price it shouldn’t have problems like this.

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities! To find out what may have caused the battery drain within the last 24 hours, follow these steps:

Open Settings
Tap Battery
Select 'Last 24 Hours'

This will show you the usage for the past day and break it down by app. You can also toggle between 'Show Activity' and 'Show Battery Usage' to see the amount of battery use by percentage or time. Find more information in the article About the battery usage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
