iOS 17.0.3 drains battery

I have an iPhone SE 2nd generation. Was having battery drain issues with last iOS version. Now since having updated to 17.0.3 and replaced battery it is even worse. Don’t use my phone as much as many kids I’m sure and I can’t even make a full day without recharging. I’ve done all the recommended ‘fixes’ (lowered screen brightness, deactivate background refresh for all apps, turned off location services, etc) nothing seems to help. When I called Apple Support I suggested maybe could it be the iOS update and was told oh no that is not likely. He told me to give it a few more days with the new battery and maybe it will fix itself!?!?! He’s supposed to call me back next week to

see if I’m still having the problem. So far- yes I am.
