Received email from Apple saying I signed in to imessage

Just received an email saying "your Apple ID was used to sign in to iMessage on an iMac 27" named “apple”.

It's been about 8 years since I've had an Apple device or even used my account. I've changed my password and security questions. I tried to add 2 factor authentication but I didn't received the text for over 5min, so I closed the pop-up and THEN I received the text w code. When I tried again it said too many attempts. So not able to turn it on ATM.

Do I need to do anything else?
