Video tutorials, I have found, are not comprehensive enough and don't cover the full range of iMovie features. They can also be time consuming to watch. There is no official iMovie tutorial that I know of, but you can find a lot of video tutorials on You Tube, of varying quality.
The best tutorial to learn the basic features of iMovie 10 is Apple's on-line tutorial. It has a good search feature where you can search by topic or descriptive word. Here's the link:
