Books icon/button not showing

I can't sync Books from MacBook Air M2 to my iPhone.

The button / icon not showing...please see attached.

Pls help.

My iPad does not synchronize books from my Mac on the books app I used to add epubs from my Macbook Pro by just double clicking on the epub file and the book will be added to my books app on my Macbook, and a couple of minutes later (usually a couple of seconds) the book will be on my books app on my iPad too. Now whenever I add a new book to my books app on my Macbook, it does not synchronize anymore on my iPad. I have to connect a cable and do the syncing manually, very cumbersome. Any ideaso of why this is happening?

Unable to download my books onto my laptop For some reason I am unable to read my books that are clearly listed in my library on my Mac. I mostly read them on my phone and have attempted to alter the account settings in order to allow usage on my Mac but seem to be unable to figure it out. Cloud looks fine, I can see all the books. Just cannot download them.

Syncing Books from MacBook to iPhone I have a problem syncing a Book on my MacBook Pro to my iPhone 14 Pro Max. This is a book that I ripped from a CD. It consists of 40 .mp3 files. When I sync it using Finder (through a USB cable) it will only transfer about 36 of the files. By selecting only the missing files and re-syncing several times, I can get 39 of the files but that last one just will not go. I've tried disconnecting/reconnecting the iPhone, restarting Finder, deleting the book and starting over, and each time I get about the same results. Other books transferred in full. I would also like to know how Finder generates the list of books to sync. I have books in various file folders, but none are in my Books app Library.
