Am I forced to buy a new iMac / my unit is Mac (24-inch, Early 2009) OS X El Capitan 10.11.6
NO more software update avaiable...
my iPhone 11 / 17.0.3 is requesting it need to update to connect to my phone!!!!
Any advice how to solve this annoying issue.

If your 2009 iMac is a late 2009 model you can run High Sierra. If it's a Mid 2009 or earlier it can only run El Capitan. So what model is your iMac? I'd go the Firefox or Brave browser route as it will be much easier to accomplish.
This update is apparently no longer available on the Apple servers. Can anyone please tell me what this mysterious software update actually is so I can go look for it manually? Thanks.
