Apple no longer installs screen protectors?

I recently purchased an iPhone 15 Pro Max, and a screen protector. At pick-up, Apple declined to install the screen protector. I had previously shopped around, and finally settled on the Belkin Ultraglass, so I could have it installed when I picked up my order. The Apple employee told me that they don't install Belkins. Just wondering when Apple stopped offering screen protector installations. So far, the switch from Samsung to Apple, hasn't been the smoothest.
