Driver Canon MG5750 for Sonoma

After installing Sonoma I can no longer scan a PDF with my Canon MG5750, no driver available. In addition, the sd card of my Garmin Nüvi is no longer recognized. Thank you Apple!

A networked (Wi-Fi/Ethernet) Canon MG5750 is supported for print and scan by Apple's built-in AirPrint and requires no Canon drivers or software. You would use Apple's Image Capture for scanning purposes. If you want a more robust scanning solution, then the paid (free trial) VueScan Professional supports this scanner without Apple or Canon software support.

If you want to remain dependent upon Canon drivers and software, then Canon updated their printer and scanner (ICA) drivers in Sept 2023. You can find them at this location and by specifying the version of macOS as macOS Sonoma v14.

In either case, see Add a printer to your printer list so you can use it on Mac - Apple Support
