pedometer apps not syncing

Various pedometer watch apps not syncing on the face of various watch face apps. My steps are current when I click the actual app on the list of apps, but not on the face. Apple Watch SE, OS 10.0.1. Anyone else?

Apple Watch SE, watchOS 10

Alright! Another sufferer from the aftermath of latest AW update. And along with Step count not being reflected, this morning I discovered I have no Do Not Disturb icon or capability on my AW. Please Apple address these disturbances since the current update.

Two things. One, Apple doesn't read here for feedback or suggestions. You should, however, let them know what you're seeing here:

Product Feedback - Apple

Second, based on the paucity of posts on either of these issues, my guess is this is not a watchOS bug but rather either something wrong with your individual system or some unusual interaction between what you have loaded on your devices. So, I wouldn't be too hopeful, if I were you, that an update will fix this.

I don't have either of these problems.

If you haven't already, I think it's time to unpair and re-pair the watch.

Thanks I appreciate it. Yes, I tried Steps as well as Pedometer ++. I hope I am allowed to mention them by name.

Ha! Yes, you're allowed to mention them by name. I generally avoid linking to apps because that makes it seem like I'm selling them.

If you can pass anything on I’d appreciate it. I know I can open the list and get correct count but the nerdy part of me wants to see the correct number at a glance.

I don't pay much attention to steps for myself, but will keep an eye out.

I just spent 30 minutes unpairing and repairing the watch. Problem still persists. Both watch and iPhone are relatively new. In fact I think both are still under Apple 1 year warranty but just barely. Hence why I wouldn’t think this is hardware.

Could this be because the step info is from Pedometer++. I don’t think steps are provided natively for the watch if I recall correctly hence why I loaded the non Apple app.

Maybe I am in left field because I’m just a typical user and not a expert as some on this forum are…I basically just set the watch up about a year ago when I got it and I use it - but I don’t tinker. I do all the updates and that’s about it.

Well, Jdjax2, I have done everything you have, except calling Apple, and my Step complication is still messed up. I too am just a daily regular user with a slight knack for IT. I have no idea what’s going on but will await your response after you receive new watch replacement. If that corrects everything I will have mine replaced. Please please keep me updated. Thanks mucho.

Hmm. I am pretty sure we did that. It’s hard now to recall exactly everything we tried because it was so extensive. I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with the various support people at Apple with them telling me what to try next. The old watch is already on its way back to Apple but I’ll certainly keep this in mind should the replacement act up in this way too.
