Merge multiple Apple Pages documents while identifying and preventing duplicate text?

I have numerous versions of documents that have all been edited or changed by colleagues. I would like to merge them all into one document that incorporates all of their changes while avoiding duplicating text. I don't want to cut and paste the entire contents of the various files from one to the other because this would result in numerous blocks or sentences of text being repeated. Is there a way to merge the documents keeping unique text or paragraphs while excluding repetitions/duplicates?

thank you

We are fellow users and the Pages product team does not participate here. Only they would be in a position to determine the degree of effort involved in a currently non-existent Pages document merging tool and the budget necessary to create it. As no such tool has been created since Pages was introduced in 2005, you can pretty much make book that no such merging tool will be forthcoming either.

Also, Apple uses compressed and encrypted internal files within Pages documents and they have not shared either those data structures, the encryption method, or keys with any party outside of the product team. That rules out any magical third-party tool for this purpose.

Pages was never intended to be a clone of MS Word, though the latter can merge content different documents into a main document without duplicate filtering or automatic changes to their formatting styles.
