iPhone message bubble shapes
Sometimes when sending or receiving messages the bubbles are oval and sometimes they look like speech bubbles. Why?

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. This sounds expected and generally occurs when messages are sent within a short time frame. To see when you sent a message or when it was received, you can use this tip from Send and reply to messages on iPhone - Apple Support.
"Find out when a message was sent to you. Drag the message bubble to the left to see timestamps for all messages in the conversation."
