I cant verify my email setting up icloud because it is spelled wrong, can I edit?

Accidentally created Apple ID with wrong email address Hi, I accidentally created an Apple ID with a typo in my email address: de**********@gmail.com (wrong) My actual email is: de************@gmail.com (correct) I am able to log in with the wrong email and password, but since that email doesn’t exist, I can’t verify it. Name linked to icloud email address spelled wrong, and cannot change I obviously set it up with a typo in it the first time but I’ve now been through My Card settings, iCloud settings and Apple ID settings… all have the correct name… Finally found the typo under email aliases (this has been an absolute nightmare to get to this point btw… obviously my fat thumbs failed me setting it up in the first place but seriously what a confusing jumbled mess of name and ID settings… anyway, found it, changed it…. Confirmed that I changed it……. ITS STILL SENDING WITH THE WRONG NAME!!! Can someone please help??!

Hi Cris153,

We'd like to share some information that may help. Once an Apple ID is created that is what it is created as, but you can go through Change your Apple ID - Apple Support as an option. We hope this helps you achieve a solution.
