can I still purchase apple care ?

it said it expired but had I known I would've extended it .

My Support - Official Apple Support If you can add it or extend it— will say so with dates.



Applecare 1-yr warranty is the default on every Mac purchased.


AppleCare+ adds 2 yrs so 1+ 2= 3 years from data of purchase, bought within the first 60 days of being new.


extended AppleCare+ has to be bought within 30 days of AppleCare+ expiring



AppleCare+ (plus a portion of accidental damage.)

Extending your Coverage:


Give Apple a Call:

To see if this is an option to you, contact Apple Support. If permitted to do so, then you may be able to move froward with it. Note that Apple does not permit all items' warranties to be extended past the expiration date. IF it were extended, then it would be paid on an annual basis. So, extending it may not even have been an option to you.


Apple Support Contact Us Info:

For financial support, contact Apple Support. Tell them that the purchase is not going through as it should. If need be, perform a screensharing session with the Apple Rep. Show then what you are seeing on the screen.

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there as necessary
  • Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. And that makes sense, because with the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :
