iPhone 11 incredibly choppy and slow response time since iOS 17 update

I recently got a replacement iPhone 11 from AT&T because I was having this same issue with my XR. Basically my phone is not as snappy anymore. It seems like everything is on a half second lag, especially when switching between apps and typing on the keyboard. You know how your iPhone acts when it’s at 1%? Mine is acting like that all the time. Any reason why this is happening to my new phone as well?

Please help because it is incredibly frustrating to use my relatively new phone so slowly.

Storage is not full, battery is fine (100%) . Software up to date (17.1)
