Sonoma 14.0 interferes with some third party apps

When I use third party entertainment apps like Spotify or Amazon Prime video, Newly installed Sonoma system interferes with viewing or listening by randomly opening other apps over them. Very frustrating.

Would you happen to use "Voice Control"? Go to System Settings > Accessibility > Voice Control and make sure "Voice Control" is not activated.

Apple provides developers with all the tools necessary to create compatible applications for the current operating system. It is not Apple's responsibility to make the operating system fit the third-party application, but the reverse with the responsibility resting solely on the application vendor.

All you can do is confirm that you have the current released version of the third-party application, and the vendor states that it is compatible with Sonoma. You may need to wait for vendor tweaks to improve their product compatibility with Sonoma.

Spotify and Amazon work just fine but, when I use them as I mentioned before, the system opens applications randomly, up to five, some of them I never used before and they pop-up in front of the video or the music I am listening to. They can be closed but if I do close them, some other apps appear. This happens many times during the viewing of a 50 minutes video.

You say that the system does not randomly open apps so, where is the adjustement that causes this behaviour?

I just watched an episode on Amazon Prime with my wife and while we watched, we were interrupted by random applications such as MS Word, colorimeter, Mail, Apple news, Stock exchange and a many other little accessories I dont remember. I had to quit each application and hit Safari in the bar to get the screen back to the video which kept running; we heard the sound but lost the screen to the other applications.

This has been happening since I installed Sonoma 14.0 a couple of days ago. Very annoying, very.

I really am not interested in you being able to reproduce it or not; I'd just like to revert to the previous system which did not give me this aggravation. Before I wrote this, we were watching a TV series on Amazon prime and another lot of applications, some I never use myself opened and forced me to go to the keyboard and hit the Safari icon to go back to our screen at least six or seven times. However this automatic harassment happened, it did when I installed the new system as suggested by Apple and using the System installer. Therefore, I hold Apple Computers responsible for highjacking my computer unless I can be provided with some rational explanation and some functional solution to this problem which also happens when I use other applications.

Actually no; it was not clear to me that this was a user blog and I am sorrry if I offended anyone but I am stumped as to why this insane problem is happening. Is there a system app that can program the opening of applications on a schedule or something? I have been an Apple user since 1988 I think when I bought my first Macintosh SE; never has anything like this happened through all these years.
