I previously had an Apple id and password setup for my old iphone. I didn't use it for years. Now I want to use it but I can't remember the password and also not sure of theapple id. So I created another Apple Id with password. How can I replace the old Apple id from my iphone with the new one?

You will need to log out, but in order to logout you will need to enter the password of the previous Apple ID
Reset that via iforgot.apple.com first. Then go to settings>your name>sign out and sign out of the old Apple ID before you can sign in to the new one again
