I purchased an iPad for my daughter as a gift

I purchased an iPad for my daughter at the beginning of October and at the time I didn't have the money to purchase AppleCare+ for it, now I have the money and would like to add AppleCare+ to the iPad, how do I go about doing so without taking it out of the box?

You can add an AppleCare+ within 60 days of initial purchase of the iPad. The owner can add AppleCare+ cover directly from iPad settings - after the iPad has been initially set-up.


You can also purchase an AppleCare plan, for a qualifying device, from Apple's AppleCare portal:
