How to fix password issue in Apple Time Machine setup on Synology NAS

Hi!

I am setting up Apple Time Machine (ATM) and planning to use a Synology NAS (DS923+) to support it.

I have both created a specific user and a specific folder to support ATM on the Synology NAS.

After setting up the User and Folder on the Synology NAS I navigate to ATM to add the NAS backup disk... I follow all the steps and when providing the User credentials (username & password) in ATM I am not able to complete the action as the password seems not to be recognized (but I am sure I am providing the correct information).

Please could anyone support me setting up ATM by explaining me how can I address the pwd issue?
