resolution is wrong with usb-c cable vs hdmi cable BenQ PD2705Q

So i've got 2 identical BenQ PD2705Q monitors with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, when i connect the screen with HDMI i get the correct (top) results, but when i connect using USB-C i get a Resolution: 2880 x 5120 with a scaled UI, resulting in fuzzy texts.

I'd love to keep using the USB-c because of charging, USB-hub etc so how do i configure the Mac to view this screen as a 2560 x 1440 resolution?

Hi Phil, thanks for answering, offcourse i know all that, but I like to disagree with USB-C allowing a higher resolution than that the monitor supports.

For some reason after a meeting the specs are now aligned and everything is sharp, so these values are now both

Resolution: 1440 x 2560 <-- this one is now correct

UI Looks like: 1440 x 2560 @ 60.00Hz

its a weird thing, im reading things about apple asigning a different resolution so that it use the "scaling" settings. Anyway tis solved now. no clueue on how or why but its fine.
