Trade-In: Less worth then expected
If the device you traded in is worth less then expected, is there a option to receive the item you wanted to trade in back?

Apple never offers as much for a trade in as you can get on the open market because they take the time - and expense - to make the device look and work as new.
You will always get much more selling the device yourself. Though the difficult part of that is people selling stolen, activation locked items is getting so prevalent, folks are very wary about buying such an item from an individual.
What is your question?
Imagine my surprise when my trade-in was worth a few dollars more than expected! The trade-in value depends on the condition of the trade-in.
