Can’t add anyone else to shared calendar

We have discovered in the last few days that our shared calendars (on iPhone) are not syncing. When I click on Calendars in the Calendar app, then the i next to a calendar eg Family, there is no longer any detail about who that calendar is shared with. The only options are

change name
colour
notifications and
delete

Equally, if I go to add a new calendar I can’t see any option to add anyone else. Please help!

We see that you're having an issue with shared calendars in the Calendar app. We'd like to have you try some basic troubleshooting to help with getting this issue resolved for you.

Restart your device, and test.
Make sure you're using the latest version of software, Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Once that is complete, if the issue remains, try the steps outlined in this page for further assistance with what you've been experiencing.
