iPhone 15 pro max jeep 4xe 2021 CarPlay issues

Just wanted to pile on - same issue being seen by others. Apple cord, third party cord - nothing works. SAME exact cords connect to Samsung Fold 3 all the time flawlessly. Friend with a similar jeep with iPhone 15 same issues. Worked great with my iPhone 12. iPhone is going back very soon unless apple can fix.
