The secondary clock widget appears washed-out when the always-on display activates.

I've added a secondary clock widget to my recently acquired iPhone 15 Pro's home screen. When the phone enters sleep mode, the always-on display functions as expected. However, there's an issue with how the clock widget updates. Over time, the numbers on the clock gradually lose their vibrancy, resembling erased chalk on a blackboard. When I wake the phone, the clock resets and displays the correct time. Additionally, the phone experiences significant overheating, and the battery drains rapidly. This has been my most disappointing iPhone purchase to date. Is it possible to return the device and receive a refund?
