Notability sync between Mac and iPad messing up?

When I complete some notes on notability on my Mac book it syncs with my iPad but the page is all distorted and the pictures and text have all shifted meaning it looks nothing like what it does on my Mac book. Is there an easy fix to this? It sort of defeats the point of having the ability to sync across devices!

Synchronizing my iPad is stuck I have been having trouble synchronizing my iPad (16.3) (5th generation air) to my M1 iMac (13.2) for a few days. It always gets stuck in “Syncing Artwork (Step 4 of 4) - Waiting for items to copy”. Most of the “solutions” I have found on the Internet talk about iTunes. I have rebooted both machines several times. From Finder, I have tried unchecking various synchronizations such as “Books” and “TV Shows”. Photos and music use iCloud. After unchecking them and killing Finder or rebooting, Finder shows them still checked as it is stuck syncing still. I uninstalled and reinstalled “Books” and “Nook”. Slow syncing between devices My Macbook takes awhile to sync with my other devices--iPad, iPhone, Mini Mac, etc. Case in point: I was out of town yesterday and took my iPad to work on 3 or 4 files. Now I'm back in the office and could not work on a file for 20 minutes or so. I can find no manual override to speed thing up. Your advice?

Apple Books only shows first page in each chapter I downloaded an epub on my Mac then copied it to Books on an iPad using he sync feature in the Finder. When I read the book on the iPad it only shows text on the first page. Going to the next page shows the dirt page off the next chapter. If I make the text smaller Books still shows a full page of text. The text is there, but Books will only show one page of it. It does the same on the Mac.

Apple syncing is meant for Apple apps and services via your AppleID. There is no guarantee, or provision for that matter, for it working with 3rd party products.

If the syncing for Notability is contained within the app, you'll need to talk the developer.
