I have a recording of a hypnotherapy session saved in voice memos. Is there a way I can ask Siri to play the recording instead of doing myself?
Before people comment (as they do) I’m not lazy just sometimes I need to play the recording without moving from the comfortable position I am in, for example if I have woken during the night and need to listen to the recording to aid me back to sleep.
If not, Apple will we ever be able to?

It looks like Siri can open the Voice Memo app but cannot play a Voice Memo. You can ask Siri to open the app then tap on the desired memo. Learn more about what you can ask Siri here Find out what Siri can do on iPhone.
Alternatively, you can look into creating a Shortcut to play a specific recording. You put your own Shortcuts together to have your iPhone preform actions when you run them. When creating a new Shortcut, to see actions available for Voice Memos, use search at the bottom to search for the app. Learn more here:
