too many documents in cloud

I have a brand new Mac air and already, after 3 weeks, it claims that over 38gb of cloud storage is documents. How do I clean this up without losing documents...and where do I even find them?

Go to iCloud.com

Or, navigate to the iCloud Drive folder in finder (and Desktop and Documents if enabled).

All of your files can be found in those locations

"Other" storage space on Mac I have 163.16 GB of "Other" storage space taken on my Mac and now only have a few MB free. It's has been causing me a lot of problems. I have removed most of my documents, put them on a hard drive and deleted them from the trash. I have no extra apps with the acceptation of some Microsoft products which have never caused me any problems and I have deleted all but my most recent phone backup. Does anyone know where I should go looking next to delete stored files that I don't use?

I Cloud Storage Reduction I am trying to reduce storage on my iCloud Storage. According to my "Manage Storage" window my main folder "My Documents" takes up 182 GB Storage. I can delete data on my Documents folder on my hard drive. Here, however, the documents folder is only 55 GB. Where is the other 130 GB Data in my documents folder and how can I reduce it?
