MP3 CD will not read

I am using a Super Drive on my 2021 14" MacBook Pro running Ventura

I have an audiobook MP3 CD from the library that the computer won't read

When I insert the CD, the message is "The disk you attached was not readable by this computer."

This has happened several times with several different MP3 CDs

I have installed various types of MP3 reading software to help, but nothing has worked (VLC, MP Player, Silicio, Elmedia, I also have Logic Pro)
