I’ve updated my iPhone 12 to iOS 17 and since then I’m having issues with the notifications of Message and WhatsApp. If “show in CarPlay” is disabled, I don’t receive any notification (sound) on any of this apps (Message or WhatsApp). If I turn on “Show in CarPlay”, everything works as it should. To clarify, this happens if the phone is connected or not connected to the car (wireless or cable).

If we understand correctly, when your iPhone is not connected to a vehicle with CarPlay - the setting "Show in CarPlay" affects your incoming notifications.

Yes, that is correct. When the phone is not connected to the vehicle, “Show in CarPlay” is affecting my incoming notification for “Messages” and “WhatsApp”. All other app works without any issue.
