Cannot locate cell signal strength (RSRP)

iPhone 13 with IOS 17. Using *3001#12345#* does not produce a line with RSRP information.

This phone and IOS is new to me, but, I've used this to track my cell signal strength with previous models of iPhones.

Has something changed? I've done all kinds of searches online looking for help on this.

I have an iPhone SE 2 IOS 17 with Verizon as my carrier. I used to be able to view rsrp, but no longer. I have changed to 24 hour mode and turned off WiFi. I key in *3001#12345#* and I still am not getting the RSRP. I am in "All Metrics" tab. Under LTE, and "LTE Neighbor Cell Meas". It get nbr_rsrp and nbr_rsrq, but that is not supposedly the same as rsrp and rsrq. Any other suggestions?

Hi TwoSmile,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. It sounds like this might be a carrier code that you are trying to use to see signal strength. In that case, your carrier will be in the best position to advise of your options in that regard.

However, below are a couple resources that might help as far as determining signal.

1: Using the Control Center:

Swipe down from the top right corner of the iPhone 13 screen to access the Control Center.

Look for the cellular signal strength bars on the top left corner of the screen. The number of bars indicates your signal strength, with more bars indicating a stronger signal.

2: Using the "Mode Field Test" app:

Download the "Mode Field Test" app from the App Store.

Open the app and tap on "LTE."

Look for the "RSRP0" value, which indicates your signal strength.

Alternatively, you could contact your carrier's customer support to get more information about your iPhone's signal strength in a particular area.
