Somehow, I did something that made my pointer into a crosshair. How do I change the crosshair pointer back to an arrow?
Choose Apple menu 
> System Settings, click Accessibility 
in the sidebar, click Display on the right, then change the settings below Pointer.

Try pressing the esc key.
I figured it out!
System Settings, Accessibility, Display, then click/toggle "Show toolbar button shape"
I have tried the suggestion to go to Accessibility to change the cross-hairs back to an arrow, but I do not see a selection to change the styler of the pointer. It just is not there. I am using the latest version of Mac OS. I still need help, please.
Sorry for a basic question but have you tried safe boot?
