I don’t want to out all my calls on speaker

my speaker works fine. I just can faintly hear people I call or who call me without turning on my speaker. Help

iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 16

Hi trudi130,

Did you have a chance to try all of the steps on the page viewed before posting your question? Especially the step to try and clean the receiver mesh.

If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker - Apple Support

3. If necessary, clean the speaker or receiver opening with a small, soft-bristled brush. Make sure that the brush is clean and dry.

If the issue persists, we'd recommend contacting Apple Support to take a closer look.

That was so helpful and I had forgotten that somewhere in a fun time last week. I must’ve spilled something on the face of my phone. I couldn’t see anything in that upper little speaker but I kept messing with it like you said and it worked so I hope everybody that has trouble you clean that top little speaker on the face. I didn’t know it was the speaker thank you thank you.
