Question

Sharing iCloud Photos and it keeps saying iMessage is signed out and won’t let me sign in

when I go to my message app I can make text and receive texts but a bar pops down saying iMessage is signed out so I press the settings button to sign in and it tells me an error occurred during this activation try again later.

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 16

"Turn off and restart iMessage and FaceTime

Go to Settings > Messages and turn off iMessage.
Go to Settings > FaceTime and turn off FaceTime.
Restart your iPhone.
Turn iMessage and FaceTime back on."
