Can no longer use Shift-Return for Line Break in Pages

Since upgrading to Sonoma, my keyboard shortcut for Line Break (menu: Insert: Line Break), which used to be ⇧-Return, isn't acceptable in the System Settings: Keyboard: Keyboard Shortcuts: App Shortcuts. It won't accept Shift as a possible function key. It accepts Shift-Command-Letter, but not Shift-Letter.

I've always had quite a few App Shortcut menu changes through Keyboard Shortcuts, so I'm quite familiar with the set up there.

Any ideas on how to assign just Shift-Return to the Line Break function?

Found the new shortcut in another thread, although Apple has chosen not to show it in the Insert menu.

It's Shift+control+return

I was able to add Shift-Return as a keyboard shortcut for "Line Break" by creating a macro in the utility Keynote Maestro, and it now works in all apps (Pages, Keynote, etc). This won't work for everyone (those without a macro app), but wanted to post the solution I found. And as others noted, you can also retrain your brain with some other shortcut.
