I’ve been trying to save images on safari but every time I hold down to save the image it just automatically highlights the link like as if I want to copy the link like no I just want to save the cute image i saw. I’ve tried doing it multiple times I even turned off my phone fully and it didn’t work this has never happened to me but until I updated my phone. Can someone help me I don’t know why to do.

Sometimes it can take a moment to tap the correct spot to save the image rather than highlight it or another portion of the page near that image. It's also possible that certain websites might not support this feature, which could be causing the issue you're describing.
