this has happened with the 2 most recent iOS updates. Iphone 14 pro max crashed as soon as update is initiated, so I had to put my phone in recovery mode. Now while setting up iPhone after recovery mode my phone is stuck on the create new password screen. I put my phone in recovery mode at least 3 times and nothing has changed. how do I fix this issue?

Troubleshooting iPhone 14 Pro Mac After Recent Update:

A. Force Restart your iPhone:

To safely get out of this, Force Restart your iPhone. Then, try this once more. Go here: Force Restart iPhone - Apple Support

B. Try Another Update --this Time Using a Computer:

Have a Computer Handy? If so, try using a computer to update. Go here: Update your iPhone Using a Computer - User Tip. If any updates are availabe, they will install, sure enough.

C. Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
  4. Proceed from there as necessary
