For most of us, the answer to that question is “no”.
We already have what is needed, pre-installed by Apple as part of iOS and iPadOS.
Apple Platform Security - Apple Support
This is more Mac focused: Effective defenses against malware and other threats - Apple Community
but well describes how we ourselves are targeted (and not our devices!), and are convinced to do things against our own interests. Basically, you’re here and asking this because you’ve been targeted by advertisers. We all get targeted by phishing, and other scams, too.

Did you know some of the better-known add-on anti-malware for macOS was caught selling your personally-identified web browsing history, including your purchasing history? They claim to have stopped that.
I do wonder how much of the add-on anti-malware is actually distinguishable from the malware that we were warned about.
To be completely clear, iOS and iPadOS are not completely immune to malware. What malware has been around is quite rare, very expensive, and has been targeted against specific people. This based on available published information. If you might be a target (investigative journalist, political dissident, senior on some critical organization or government, with access to sensitive or classified info, access to great wealth, etc) consider enabling lockdown mode, and consider getting advice tailored for your security,

There is no such thing as security software for iOS devices. Any software claiming it is, by definition, a scam.
No. Not nessecary. If you don't jailbreak your iPhone iOS'ses built in security will handle it just fine
