If I download music on my iPhone will it also be downloaded on my iPad?

This is something we can definitely assist you with, thanks for posting here.
Great question! Songs that you download for offline play on your iPhone will not be downloaded onto your iPad. If you add a song to your Apple Music library, that song will be added to your library but offline music is downloaded on a per-device basis.
